Meet the Artist
Meet Lauren Nel
Lauren grew up in Northern Utah on a small farm near the mountains. She grew up taking her goats on barefoot walks in the mountains, horseback riding and hiding in grassy fields to read books. She has always been considered a drop of sunshine and a full serving of free spirit by her friends and family. She is passionate about people and discovering what gives them happiness.
Lauren has always loved creating and making things more beautiful. She was a pretty good child until she got her hands on paint or markers, then all surfaces became her canvas. When she was 16 she discovered she could draw and paint photorealism. She earned enough money and scholarships to pay for college by her 17th birthday.
After studying art in college for a few years, Lauren found she didn’t like the structure of it. She decided to travel instead. She spent the next seven years living in New Zealand, Alaska, Montana, Hawaii and visiting over twenty countries. She found jobs and friends every place she lived.
In 2020 when travel became a lot harder with the Covid lockdowns Lauren returned home to Northern Utah where she turned all of her passion towards building her art business.
Our Mission
Through “Wild Free and Creating” Lauren is helping to bring more beauty and joy into the world. By adding her creative spark to the mix she hopes her joy of living will ignite those around her and those who her business touches.
Our mission is to offer commissioned artwork that is personal, meaningful, and worth every penny. Personalized art is about the message and emotion, not the price, which is why we are happy to have you here!
